There are several ways that Alums can give back to the NECB Community. We hope you will consider volunteering for one of the following. Alumni Ambassadors

 

Did you have a great experience at NECB? Would you like to offer your words of advise to potential students? Alumni Ambassadors connect with potential students via email on an as requested basis. Alumni Ambassadors may also volunteer to speak to fellow employees at their place of work. It's all up to you! Just let us know how you would like to help to share the student experience.

 

Special Interest Group Leader

 

The Alumni Association is looking for graduates who are interested in managing Alumni Special Interest Groups (SIG) in order to build a network of like-minded colleagues. The Alumni SIGs can be set up as a LinkedIn Group, an email distribution list, virtual book clubs, or local groups who meet for networking purposes. It's your choice!

 

Online Guest Lecturer/Presenter

 

Do you have work experience or business lessons that you would like to share with an NECB class? Are you passionate about presenting? Then consider volunteering to be an online classroom Guest Lecturer or a featured speaker at an Alumni Association webinar. Guest Lecturers lead a one-week discussion in class or an evening webinar, depending on the needs of the instructor.

 

Guest Blogger

 

Are you a writer with something to say about the world of work? The Alumni Association blog features professional development advice on a range of topics. Guest bloggers have the opportunity to share their tips and expertise with NECB students and fellow alumni. If you have an idea, we want to hear it!

 

Resume Reviewer/Mock Interview

 

Do you have HR or counseling experience? Are you willing to conduct a mock phone interview with alumni or students in order to give constructive feedback? Resume reviewers or mock interviewers are put in touch with students or alums who are requesting this service on an as needed basis. You determine how much or how little you want to volunteer.
